World Travel : Trip 113 : Thailand, Phuket : Hotel in Kamala and sunset at Surin Beach
Video / Movie Clip recorded on a 3 week trip to Dubai, Thailand and Malaysia, February/March 2012. Kamala Beach is on the west coast of Phuket, just to the north of Patong, and immediately south of Surin Beach. [edit] Understand Kamala provides a haven for those who prefer the quieter life. Although the southern end of the beach can get busy in the high season, the northern end is peaceful all year round. I booked a nice/cheapish room at the Baan Kamala Hotel and on arrival was offered an upgrade to a lovely top floor suite at a very good price … so decided it was time for a little splurge.
